Fundraising Event for Wilson Batista, Jr.
You may remember hearing about a young boy, Wilson Batista, Jr., who was the victim of a shooting June 2009, while innocently playing basketball in the park near his Long Island home. For Wilson, he has been left with the life-time sentence of a traumatic brain injury (TBI) as a result of being shot in the head. The past five months Wilson has been in multiple hospitals receiving medical treatment and has recently returned home.
At the request of Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy, New Beginnings is joining his effort in supporting a fundraiser to help Wilson Batista, Jr. This fundraising event will ensure that Wilson received the much needed medical services/therapies while assisting the family in times of need.

Come join the New Beginnings Family for a fun evening out with friends while enjoying good food, music, raffles and a chance to win a TV at the same time helping support Wilson Batista, Jr., a TBI survivor and his family.
