Veterans Day Gala. On Wednesday, November 11, 2009, New Beginnings Community Center premieres its first annual Veterans Day Gala. This exciting event will be held at the renowned Leonard’s of Great Neck. Enjoy outstanding food, an open bar and great music all while supporting a worthy cause. The success of this fundraiser will enable New Beginnings Community Center to purchase technologically advanced equipment and therapies for those with traumatic brain injury and other physical and cognitive disabilities. Community Center for Brain Injury Rehabilitation Coming to Medford: Many Long Islanders anxiously await the construction of the New Beginnings Facility to treat those who suffer from a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
